Lincoln
has a rich and
diverse heritage from its days as a Roman garrison to its present day role as an
important business and administrative centre. Its uphill district provides
examples of fine period architecture and a wealth of artifacts which are
tstiment to its long and distinguished history, whilst new investment, an
expanding economy and an increasing vibrancy are symptomatic of a new era as a
modern, developing university city.
The site which was formerly a military camp is situated in the north of the city to the east of the B1398 Burton Road. The location is very convenient for access to both central and uphill areas of the city. Local schools include infant junior and senior with the latter incorporating a leisure centre.
